We Are Welcoming Back Blues Fans to Rosa’s Lounge!

 

All of Illinois has entered Phase 4 of the governor’s and mayor’s reopening plans, and we are excited to be reopening to the public. 

 

We are so grateful for the support we have received from loyal fans and customers for our live streaming shows. Your support and generosity have been a lifeline for the artists. For our out of town fans, or for local fans and customers who don’t feel comfortable coming back out just yet, our donation-based live streaming will continue on social media platform like Facebook and YouTube.

 

We are following strict public health and other guidelines to protect our performers, customers, and employees. This includes a 25% capacity limit. We will be selling our limited tickets in advance and at the door 'til sold out. Please read below for more information on our current operations.

Our Current Show Schedule, While Capacity is Limited 

 

Chicago bars are currently limited to 25% of their normal capacity and cannot sell alcohol after 1a.m.. Until the city relaxes these limits, our performance schedule will be:

 

Friday, and Saturday

First Show: 

Doors Open at 8:00 p.m.  Performance 9 p.m. – 10:30 p.m

Second Show: 

Doors Open at 11 a.m. Performance 11:15 p.m. – 12:45 a.m.

 

 

Ticket sales will be for a single show. 

 

First Show guests will be required to depart by 11 p.m.

 

Second Show guests will be subject to the last call on alcoholic beverages at 1 a.m.

 

We can sell tickets for groups of up to 10.

Steps We are Taking to Protect Performers, Customers, and Staff

 

The State of Illinois and City of Chicago have issued detailed guidelines for business re-openings, and we are strictly following the guidelines for bars. The guidelines cover employee health screening, sanitation, occupancy limits, and social distancing, in addition to other rules. Here are key elements that apply to Rosa’s Lounge:   

 

  • 25% capacity limit. Chicago bars are currently limited to 25% of normal capacity.        There will be ample space for with no crowding.
  • All tables will be at least 6 feet apart.
  • All customers will be seated at tables.
  • Customers will be seated at least 15 feet from the nearest band member.
  • Performers will wear masks when they are not singing or playing wind instruments.
  • Drinks will be served in plastic drinkware or in bottles and cans.
  • Staff will scrupulously and regularly clean and sanitize tables, chairs, restrooms, bar tops, and every other surface. 
  • All employees will have their temperatures checked and will wear face coverings.

Steps We are Asking You to Take to Protect Performers, Customers, and Staff

 

We our counting on the patience, understanding, and assistance from our customers as we reopen safely. 

 

Most importantly, we are asking for your commitment to the artists. When we have so few tickets to sell, we will need to be selling out!

 

Here are some things you’ll notice:

 

 

  • Quick health screening at the door, to make sure you do not feel ill. 
  • Requirement to wear a face covering when you enter, exit, or are not seated at your table.
  • Requirement to wear a face covering when you are seated and placing an order with staff.
  • First Show guests will need to depart by 11 p.m. 
  • Second Show guests will not be able to enter until 11 p.m., after we complete our cleaning regimen. 
  • Last call for alcohol sales at 1 a.m. (per city rules)
  • Two drink per person minimum (on the honor system)
 
Information for Ticket Holders
  • Ticket sales will be in advance and at the door allowed only up to the 25% capacity.
  • The maximum group we can permit is 10. 
  • Two drink per customer minimum. We are using the honor system. With extremely limited capacity, our bar staff needs your support!
  • Refunds will be issued if you become ill and can't attend the show.
  • Doors open for First Show guests at 8 p.m. Show time 9 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
  • First Show guests must depart by 11 p.m.
  • Doors open for Second Show guests at 11 p.m.. We cannot allow you inside until all First Show guests have departed and the tables, chairs, bar counter, and restrooms are thoroughly sanitized.
  • Second Show time 11:15 p.m. - 12:45 a.m.
  • 1 a.m. is last call for alcohol. We will close at 1:30 a.m.
