The legendary Junior Wells, one of the most iconic and influential bluesmen of all time, inspired countless blues fans and musicians around the world.  He is also the inspiration behind the establishment of Rosa’s Lounge, where he performed regularly from 1984, when the club was founded, until he passed away in 1998.  On December 9th, we celebrate Junior’s birthday with harmonica disciples Rob Stone and Omar Coleman, backed by an All-Star band of musicians––including the great Willie “The Touch” Hayes, who spent 8 years touring and recording with Junior Wells.  This will be an unforgettable night of classic Chicago Blues in remembrance of one of the genre’s most unforgettable greats!
