Nate Manos is known by his peers and blues fans alike as one of the premier young Blues, R&B & Soul singers and guitar players on the Chicago music scene. Other than fronting his own band, he is presently working with Chicago Blues Hall of Famer Sheryl Youngblood as the lead guitarist and second vocalist in “The Sheryl Youngblood Blues Band”. Nate has multiple residencies at Chicago’s premier nightclubs Blue Chicago, Buddy Guy's Legends, and the legendary Rosa’s Lounge. Nate has worked and played with countless Chicago Blues greats such as Jimmy Johnson, A C Reed & The Sparkplugs, Nellie “Tiger” Travis, Shirley Johnson, Laretha Weathersby, Rico McFarland, Chico Banks, The Pete Galanis Band, Omar Coleman, Toronzo Cannon. Nate also briefly co-fronted his own project with Delmark Recording artist and Omar Coleman, and blues guitar great and one of the original Sons Of Blues, Dan Carelli, in a band called “The Troubled Minds”. Nate has been blessed to share festival and nightclub stages with some of his idols and mentors, such as Buddy Guy, Jimmy Johnson, Chicago, Kool & The Gang, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, George Thorogood, Les Getrex, A C Reed, and Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials.
Joel Pibo Márquez
Joel "Pibo" Márquez is a Venezuelan musician and percussionist with a fruitful musical career that has taken him to travel more than 40 countries around the world, always praising and emphasizing the musical strength of Latin American AFRO rhythms. He develops percussion in the Salsa and Jazz genres as the leader of the group "Pibo Márquez y su Descarga" (Salsa) and "Los Manos Calientes" (Jazz) In his eagerness to spread the musicality of AFRO in Latin America has developed thematic as a producer of radio and TV programs, as well as documentaries. Every year the International Percussion Festival takes place in Barlovento (region of the central Venezuelan coast) where world-renowned musicians meet to bring their knowledge to the communities of that region. With regular "Pibo" it imparts workshops and courses of percussion in Venezuela and Colombia. He has participated in recording projects and live collaborations for artists such as Alfredo De La Fe, Arturo Sandoval, David Valentin, Dominic Miller, Cheick Tidiani Seck, Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra, Chico Freeman, Naty and his Orchestra, Juanes, Guayacán Orchestra, Those of Below Mexico, Aterciopelados, among many others.
